Get your Emergency Kit

1Password asks you to save your Emergency Kit when you create an account. Check your Downloads folder to see if you already have yours. You can get another copy of your Emergency Kit in some of the 1Password apps, or by signing in to your account on 1Password.com.

  1. Sign in to your account on 1Password.com.
  2. Click your name in the top right and choose My Profile.
  3. Click Save Emergency Kit and follow the onscreen instructions to save the PDF.

Lost Master Password 1password Code

  1. From the Account menu choose your account > Get Emergency Kit.
  2. Click Save or Print.

1Password for Android

  1. Go to Settings > 1Password accounts, then choose your account.
  2. Tap View Emergency Kit, then tap Save.

Prepare your Emergency Kit

Follow these tips to prepare your Emergency Kit and store it safely:

  • Print a copy to keep in a safe deposit box or with your passport or birth certificate.
  • Write your Master Password in at least one printed copy of your Emergency Kit.
  • Save it to your personal cloud storage, so you always have a digital copy available.
  • Give a copy to someone you trust, like your spouse or someone in your will.

Should I write down my Master Password?

Consider what would happen if you ever forgot it or how a loved one would access your account in an emergency. If you don’t write it down, it’s still important to keep a copy of your Emergency Kit, so you don’t lose your Secret Key.

Use your Emergency Kit

Your Emergency Kit contains everything needed to sign in to your account on 1Password.com or in the apps: Tose naina mp3 song download.

  • Sign-in address. The web address you use to sign in to your account.
  • Email address. The email address you used to create your account.
  • Secret Key. A unique code which protects your data. Learn more.

Recover using Touch ID or Apple Watch

If 1Password is locked, you’ll see a message that “1Password is trying to unlock.”

To approve and unlock 1Password, place your finger on the Touch ID sensor on your Mac or double-click the side button on your Apple Watch.

If you don’t see the prompt, click the Touch ID button or Apple Watch button on the lock screen.

Your ability to unlock the app with Touch ID or Apple Watch will eventually expire. Take action immediately to find your Master Password or rescue your data:

  • Export your data from 1Password while you still have access. You can then create a new account or vault and import your data into it.

Recover using Touch ID or Face ID

If you use 1Password on an iOS device with Touch ID or Face ID, try to unlock the app using it.

If you aren’t prompted to use Touch ID or Face ID when you open 1Password, tap the button below the Master Password field.

Important

Your ability to unlock the app with Touch ID or Face ID will eventually expire. Take action immediately to find your Master Password or rescue your data:

  • Look for a Login item in your Personal vault named “1Password Account”. It may contain your Master Password.
  • Export your data from 1Password while you still have access. You can then create a new account or vault and import your data into it.

Recover using Windows Hello

If 1Password is locked, try to unlock the app using Windows Hello.

If you aren’t prompted to use it when you open 1Password, click the Windows Hello button below the Master Password field or press Enter when the Master Password field is blank.

If you’re prompted to unlock with Windows Hello, but your fingerprint or face isn’t recognized, click “More choices” and unlock the app with your device PIN.

  • Look for a Login item in your Personal vault named “1Password Account”. It may contain your Master Password.
  • Export your data from 1Password while you still have access. You can then create a new account or vault and import your data into it.

Recover using Biometric Unlock

If you use 1Password on an Android device with Biometric Unlock, try to unlock the app by placing your finger on the fingerprint sensor, or let your device scan your face or eyes, until 1Password unlocks.

If you aren’t prompted to use Biometric Unlock when you open 1Password, tap the fingerprint button below the Master Password field or enter your PIN code, if you set one up.
